Dr. med. dent. Rebekka Hueber

I am a specialist in oral surgery with an M.Sc. in orthodontics, focused on biological and biofunctional perspectives in dentistry: ceramic implantology, minimally invasive treatment of chronic inflammatory processes, gentle orthodontics, biological bone augmentation and biocompatible materials.

I completed postgraduate education in dentosophy and related functional concepts in Germany, Switzerland and Italy, and I hold a Master of Science in Orthodontics.

I run a dental practice in Switzerland and am involved in international professional exchange through educational activities and lectures. Beyond my profession, I value family life, traveling and time in nature: companions to a commitment to lifelong learning.

My work is driven by a deep interest in functional perspectives and interdisciplinary thinking within dentistry.

Where this comes from

Almost a decade before it became an academy

Clinic director

Responsibility for a team and for a clinical day in which every concept has to prove itself.

Over 7 years of teaching

Training in biofunctional dentistry, lectures worldwide — at times to audiences of more than 500.

Ceramic implantology

Several thousand ceramic implants placed, surgery courses taught, co-developed bone augmentation concepts.

Scientific author

Publications and international concepts, learned from major mentors at home and abroad.

All of it comes together in the academy — that is why it exists.

The journey

How a surgeon learned to see function

01

My professional interests were shaped early by questions surrounding oral function, craniofacial development and the long-term implications of dental treatment decisions made during childhood.

02

During my education and professional training, I became increasingly interested in functional perspectives within dentistry: interdisciplinary approaches that examine oral structures beyond isolated findings. These experiences led me to educational frameworks addressing oral habits, breathing patterns and craniofacial relationships.

03

Encountering dentosophy as an educational concept marked a turning point in my academic and professional development. It offered a structured framework for reflecting on functional relationships within the oral and craniofacial system.

04

Today, these experiences inform my work in education and professional exchange: presenting functional concepts within a clearly defined educational context: supporting reflection, discussion and ongoing learning among professionals.

Educational focus

Reflection over promises

My work focuses on educational and functional perspectives related to oral habits: breathing patterns, tongue posture, oral motor coordination. In teaching, I emphasize understanding these functional aspects as part of a broader interdisciplinary perspective in dentistry: an approach meant to support reflection, learning and professional exchange rather than to promise therapeutic outcomes.
