Privacy Policy

Merident Innovations GmbH (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we collect when you visit this website, register for our on-demand webinar, request an intro call or subscribe to our newsletter; how we use that data; and which service providers are involved.

It applies to the website dentosophy.com and to the enquiries we receive through it. It does not create any obligation on your part to provide data: everything described in Section 2 is collected only when you actively enter it in one of our forms or write to us.

We collect the following personal data when you provide it to us:

- Registration for the on-demand webinar: first name, last name, email address, telephone number and profession.

- Request for an intro call: first name, last name, email address, telephone number, profession and the free-text message you write to us.

- Newsletter: your email address.

- In addition, we record whether you ticked the newsletter opt-in box and which language version of the site (German or English) you used.

This website has no user account, no login and no payment process. If you contact us by email instead of using a form, we process the data contained in your message.

As with every website, technical data is recorded automatically for each request by the servers that deliver these pages: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, the page requested, the date and time of the request, and the IP address of the accessing device.

This data is necessary in order to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure. It is not merged with other sources and is not used to build a profile of individual visitors. Our hosting provider is named in Section 10.

We use the data you provide in order to:

- Answer your enquiry and arrange an intro call,

- Give you access to the on-demand webinar and send you the access link,

- Inform you about our courses, dates and course-related organisational matters,

- Send you our newsletter, where you have opted in.

Technical data (Section 3) is used to operate and secure the website. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising services on this website, we do not create advertising profiles, and we do not sell, trade or rent your data.

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your data on the following legal bases:

Pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR):

processing your webinar registration, your request for an intro call and your enquiries about our courses.

Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR):

sending our newsletter, where you have ticked the opt-in box. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by writing to the address in Section 19.

Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR):

operating, delivering and securing this website, including the technical data described in Section 3 and the protection of our forms against automated abuse.

In Switzerland, the corresponding processing is carried out under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/DSG): we process personal data in good faith, proportionately, and only for the purposes stated in this policy.

This website contains three forms: the webinar registration, the request for an intro call, and the newsletter sign-up in the footer. All three are submitted to an endpoint on our own server, which checks the entries and then forwards them to our CRM system (see Section 7). Nothing is sent to a third party before you submit a form.

To keep automated submissions out, each form contains a hidden field that is invisible to human visitors (a so-called honeypot). If that field is filled in, the submission is discarded. We do not use a CAPTCHA service, and no third-party bot-protection provider receives your data.

We use the CRM and marketing platform GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc., United States) to manage course enquiries, webinar registrations and our newsletter. HighLevel Inc. acts as our processor on the basis of a Data Processing Agreement that incorporates the requirements of the GDPR and applicable Swiss data protection law.

When you submit one of our forms, our server transmits the following data to GoHighLevel:

- First name, last name, email address, telephone number and profession (for the newsletter sign-up: your email address only),

- The free-text message, if you requested an intro call,

- Whether you ticked the newsletter opt-in box,

- The type of enquiry (webinar, intro call or newsletter), the language version you used, “dentosophy.com” as the source, and the time of submission,

- For webinar registrations, the access link to the recording (see Section 8), so that the confirmation email can link straight to the video.

Purposes: handling course and webinar enquiries, granting access to the on-demand webinar, and sending the newsletter. Legal bases: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries and registrations, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for the newsletter (see Section 5).

HighLevel Inc. is based in the United States and may process this data there or at other locations outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area; please see Section 14.

After registering for the on-demand webinar you are taken directly to the recording. The link to it contains a signed access pass generated by our server.

This access pass deliberately contains no personal data. It consists only of an expiry date (15 days) and a cryptographic signature, which allows our server to verify that the link is genuine and still valid. It does not identify you, and the page on which the video is played does not read out any registration data.

The videos on this website — the introductory film on the Academy page and the webinar recording — are hosted by Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., United States).

The player is only loaded when you click play. Until then the page shows a preview image delivered from our own servers, and no connection to Vimeo is established.

Once you start a video, your browser connects directly to Vimeo. Vimeo thereby receives your IP address as well as technical data about your browser and device; this is unavoidable in order to deliver the video, and Vimeo is a provider based in the United States (see Section 14). We embed the player with Vimeo’s “do not track” parameter (dnt=1), which instructs Vimeo not to record the viewing session for analytics purposes and not to set tracking cookies. We receive no information from Vimeo about who watched which video.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in making video content available; the connection is established only as a result of your decision to press play. Vimeo’s privacy policy is available at

This website is hosted and delivered by Vercel Inc. (United States). Vercel processes the technical connection data described in Section 3 on our behalf in order to deliver the pages and to protect the service against attacks and misuse. The form endpoint described in Section 6 also runs on this infrastructure. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of our website. Where data is processed outside Switzerland and the EEA, Section 14 applies.

All other components of these pages — images, fonts, stylesheets and scripts — are delivered from our own domain. Apart from the video player described in Section 9, which only loads when you click play, this website makes no requests to third-party servers.

This website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. For that reason there is no cookie banner: there is nothing here that would require your consent.

Language preference: the language version you are shown is stored in a cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) so that the site opens in the language you last used. That cookie contains nothing but the language code (“de” or “en”); it is necessary for the functioning of the site and is not used for any other purpose.

Form drafts: while you fill in one of our forms, your entries are kept in the session storage of your own browser so that a half-completed form is not lost if you navigate away and come back. This draft never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is deleted when you submit the form or close the browser tab. One further entry in your browser’s local storage records that an animated section of the home page has already been shown; it contains no personal data.

You can delete cookies and browser storage at any time in your browser settings. Doing so does not restrict the use of this website.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data. Apart from the service providers named in this Privacy Policy — GoHighLevel (Section 7), our hosting provider (Section 10) and, if you play a video, Vimeo (Section 9) — we do not pass your data on to third parties.

We may nevertheless disclose your information:

When necessary to enforce our website policies, safeguard our rights or those of others, or ensure the security of our property.

We retain your personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy: enquiry and registration data for the duration of the enquiry or the course relationship and thereafter for as long as statutory retention obligations (in particular under Swiss commercial and tax law) require; newsletter data until you unsubscribe.

Technical data of the kind described in Section 3 is retained by our hosting provider in accordance with its own retention rules and is not archived separately by us. Beyond this, we may retain data where it is needed to satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Some of the service providers we use are based in the United States: HighLevel Inc. (Section 7), our hosting provider Vercel Inc. (Section 10) and — if you play a video — Vimeo (Section 9). Your data may therefore be processed outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area.

Such transfers take place on the basis of data processing agreements incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the provider concerned is certified, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework together with its Swiss extension. We would nevertheless point out that the level of data protection in the United States may not correspond to the Swiss or European level, and that authorities there may have rights of access.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we have stored about you.

- Right to Rectification: You may request that any inaccurate or incomplete personal data be corrected.

- Right to Erasure: Under certain circumstances, you may request that we delete your personal data.

- Right to Restrict Processing: You may request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

- Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your personal data under specific circumstances.

- Right to Data Portability: Subject to applicable conditions, you may request that we transfer your personal data to another organization or directly to you.

- Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on your consent (in particular the newsletter), you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the European Union the data protection authority of your country of residence.

We are committed to maintaining the security of your information. This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS), and form submissions are transmitted encrypted as well. We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use or disclosure, and our processors are contractually bound to comparable measures.

We offer professionals the option of being contacted via WhatsApp. We write first: you leave your first and last name, profession, country and mobile number through a form on this website, and Dr. Hueber then gets in touch with you personally via WhatsApp Business. You neither have to message us nor know our number. Use is voluntary; you can equally reach us by email or through the other forms on this website.

What we process when you submit the form: the details listed above. There is deliberately no free-text field. Your details are transmitted to our CRM, GoHighLevel (see Section 7), and tagged there so the enquiry can be assigned to the right channel. We do not store any conversation history, and no automated assistant is involved — a human writes the reply.

Once Dr. Hueber writes to you on WhatsApp and you reply, Meta processes your mobile number, your profile name, the content of the messages and technical connection and usage data under Meta’s own terms, over which we have no control. The service is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland), part of the Meta group (Meta Platforms, Inc., United States).

Health data: This channel is intended for licensed healthcare professionals and is expressly not intended to receive information about your own health or about individual patients. Anyone looking for treatment is referred to the practitioner directory at dentosophydirectory.com before reaching the form. Should you nevertheless send health information in the later chat, we do not transfer it to the CRM and do not evaluate it; we ask you not to send such information via WhatsApp.

Legal bases: Adding your details to the CRM and the subsequent contact via WhatsApp are based on your explicit consent, given by actively ticking the box when you submit the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); under Swiss law we rely on Art. 31 FADP. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — reply “Stop” in the chat or write to the address given in Section 19. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Data transfers: Meta Platforms, Inc. is based in the United States; what is described in Section 14 applies accordingly to that transfer.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time — in particular if we add or replace a service provider. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date. We recommend that you review this policy periodically to remain informed about how we protect your information.
